China Australia Free Trade Agreement – Information Session

In February members of Economics Teachers Society attended an information session at the University to learn more about the recently signed China Australia Free Trade Agreement (ChAFTA) . This discussion was led by Professor Christopher Findlay , Executive Dean of the Faculty of the Professions and Mr David Morfesi the Executive Director of the Institute for International Trade.

It was a great turn out on the day, and those who attended appreciated the opportunity to have a round table discussion about ChAFTA and have their questions answered by our resident experts. Overall the group left with an enhanced understanding of what this agreement means for Australia and a greater understanding of the topic to pass onto their students.
