The School of Mechanical Engineering has been working to make their workshop more energy efficieny. They have reduced electricity related to lighting in their workshop by 48% through an LED lighting retro-fit. LED lights use significantly less electricity than fluorescent lights, have a much longer life span and have improved lighting quality in the workshop. […]
