Previous projects have included a student waste education app, rooftop solar pv installations, lighting upgrades, composting systems and office sustainability campaigns.
This year saw a record number of high quality applications, many with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainable education. Applications were assessed against the fund’s criteria and in consultation with key groups across the Infrastructure branch. They have reduced electricity related to lighting in their workshop by 48% through an LED lighting retro-fit.
