The University of Adelaide in conjunction with the School of Education hosted the 2011 Kevin Marjoribanks Memorial Lecture on Tuesday 27 September in the Napier 102 Lecture Theatre. We were honoured to have Jan Marjoribanks attend the Memorial Lecture.

Emeritus Professor Marjoribanks served as Vice-Chancellor from 1988 to 1994. He retired as Dean of the School of Education in 2005.

The School of Education was delighted to have Professor Lester-Irabinna Rigney speak on this occasion. Professor Rigney is Dean and Professor of Aboriginal Education, Wilto Yerlo at the University of Adelaide and is one of the most influential Indigenous educationalists in Australia today.
