Professor Petra Marschner’s research into the recovery of soils after fire is highlighted in the latest e-Science Magazine.
“Fires are part of the Australian landscape. Therefore it is important to better understand their effect on ecosystems and particularly the soil-plant interactions that are critical for ecosystem functioning, diversity of plants and animals as well as for clean air and water.”
