Tall Poppy Winner: Dr Laura Weyrich

Dr Weyrich works on Ancient DNA at the Australian Centre for DNA within th Environment Institute.
Her work this year involved study of dental DNA found in plaque of Neanderthal specimens, which was published in Nature.
