When: 17th – 19th September 2018
Where: The University of Adelaide, Adelaide, South Australia 5005
Book: Eventbrite – Early bird and single day tickets available.

This 3-day conference will give attendees the chance to participate in two daily sessions on topics including demographics and reproduction, remote sensing, health and disease, behaviour and ecology and human-wildlife conflict.

Keynote Speakers include:

  • Dr. David Taggart – Conservation Research Fellow, University of Adelaide – Southern Hairy Nosed Wombats
  • Dr. Alan Horsup – Senior Conservation Officer, Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service – Northern Hairy Nosed Wombats

Lunch will be served at the venue between sessions, with a short break for morning/afternoon tea during each session.

The Wombat Conference wouldn’t be complete without a chance to socialise! On 17th September, there will be a Quiz Night with the Conference Dinner on the 18th September. This will also be held at the University of Adelaide, consisting of a three course meal and drinks package with light entertainment. A fantastic opportunity to network with the widespread wombat community gathering in Adelaide.
