The EU Centre for Global Affairs announces the allocation for 2015 of a total of AUD58,000 for both full and partial funding of proposed research projects on the basis of a competitive application process.
Successful applicants are Professor Kym Anderson (Economics), Joanna Howe (Law), Sujin Kim (Accounting and Finance), Dr Carolin Plewa (Marketing and Management) and William Skinner (Anthropology).
Successful applicants will be informed individually of the precise amounts awarded to them and the conditions which apply.
The EU Centre is also pleased to announce the allocation of travel funds for PhD students to the value of 1,700 euros each to:
• Yimeng (Emon) Chen (School of Accounting and Finance)
• Matthew Hooton (English and Creative Writing)
• Joanne Lennan (English and Creative Writing)
A large number of high quality applications were received for the 2015 funding round. Unsuccessful applicants are welcome to reapply in the next round which will be announced early in the new year.
