28 October 2016 | 24 Hour Workshop | Carbon Neutral Adelaide Climathon-KIC 2016

The University of Adelaide would like to invite you to the launch of Adelaide’s participation in Climathon 2016, in the presence of the Minister for Sustainability, Environment & Conservation, The Hon Ian Hunter MLC, and The Right Hon Lord Mayor of Adelaide, Martin Haese.

Cities all over the world are participating in this 24 hour event, which aims to find solutions to current global challenges. This year, Adelaide’s focus will be on finding solutions which contribute to the idea of a Carbon Neutral Adelaide. Over 24 hours, participants will formulate ideas with mentors, develop their solutions, and pitch them to judges – who will award prizes to the best ideas.

Climathon is an initiative of Climate KIC, the EU’s largest public private partnership addressing climate change through innovation to build a “zero net emission” carbon economy.

Join us over drinks and canapes to wish participants well, and to thank mentors and judges.
