As part of our Europe Day 2017 celebrations, the EU Centre for Global Affairs brings the Shadow Players’ performance of Moliere’s play ‘The Learned Ladies’ to Adelaide!

Moliere’s hilarious farce is brought to life in this modern re-imagination of ‘The Learned Ladies’. Pompous second-rate intellectual fraud C.Y. Tang has charmed his way into the hearts of the ladies in a wealthy family, and Pamela the matriarch is about to force her daughter Henriette to marry him. Will Mother ever see C.Y. for what he is? Can Henriette marry her true love? Will the ‘learned’ ladies ever learn what true learning is? Come find out on 13 May 2017 at Nexus Arts, the Lion Arts Centre!
