The University of Adelaide was recently shortlisted for the BTTB Travel Programme of the Year Award. The other finalists were Monash University and Q Travel (Queensland Government).
The Travel Programme of the Year recognises a buyer organisation that not only manages its travel effectively, but also raises the profile of travel management within the organisation. Past winners have not only reduced spend, but have improved processes, enhanced relationships with suppliers and met the needs of diverse internal stakeholders. Previous winners of this prestigious award include Worley Parsons, BAE Systems, United Group Limited, Pacific Brands and Brambles.
BTTB managing director, Nigel Wardropper said “I commend all entrants on the quality of their submissions. All of them demonstrated significant benefits that they have delivered to their organisations. The judging task was not easy, but in the end we were unanimous in arriving at the finalists and ultimate winner.”
Unfortunately, we didn’t win (this time) Queensland Govt took away the title but it was a great achievement to be shortlisted.
Campus were also announced as Travel Partner of the Year.
