Travel – Australian Border Force Strikes; delays expected at international airports

Australian Immigration and Border Protection staff are proposing rolling strikes.  Strike action will affect international departures and arrivals from all Australian airports between Tuesday 22 March and Thursday 31 March (including Easter weekend but excluding Saturday 26 March). Staff travelling on University business are reminded that there where reasonably possible, meal & accommodation expenses do not exceed the ATO guidelines (2015-16) for the lowest salary band according to the destination.
