Modifications have been made to the Billing eForm to support new processes associated with Research Contracts and Grants which does not impact most users across the University. A summary of the key changes are below –
- Customer Creation Only (Tick Box) – This tick box should only be selected for the purpose of grant and contract billing by Research Grant Unit (RGU) and Research Business & Partnerships (RBP). It is to facilitate the request of a new customer to Revenue Accounting which is required as part of the initial set up in the contracts and grants module. Additional fields have been implemented to capture specific information required for the purpose of grant and contract billing.
- Contracts Module Sourced Billing (Tick Box) – This tick box should only be selected for the purpose of grant and contract billing by Research Grant Unit (RGU) and Research Business & Partnerships (RBP). It is to facilitate the workflow approval for grant and contract billing greater than $500k and credit notes greater than $10k before they can be processed through the contracts module as required.
