HSW Handbook Approval: HSW Action Planning

The revised HSW Handbook Chapter “HSW Action Planning” has now been posted on the HSW Website.

The key changes to the chapter for noting are:

  1. The transactional steps for the Associate Director, HSW have been removed from the process.
  2. The status reports for the Organisational HSW Action Plan will now be reported via the University’s Due Diligence report in lieu of the University Health and Safety Committee (UHSC).
  3. There is an option for the Executive Dean/Divisional Head to assess the need for a targeted Faculty/Division/School/Branch plan where overarching Faculty/Divisional HSW risks/trends are identified through Health and Safety committee reports, Workplace monitoring (safety review) activities, Workers compensation claims profiles and/or other due diligence activities.
