The Adelaide University Clubs Association is a representative body of its affiliate clubs, with those clubs sending delegates to the Clubs Association Council, from which the Clubs Association Executive is elected yearly to oversee the day to day affairs of the Clubs Association.
The chief purpose of the Clubs Association is to foster social, cultural and intellectual activities of its members. This is achieved by providing financial and administrative support to clubs as well as providing facilities for club usage.
The Clubs Association (CA) is a federation of non-sporting clubs from the North Terrace, Waite and Roseworthy campuses. The CA provides information and administrative support to clubs, as well as being a contact point for students. The CA offers financial assistance and promotion for clubs by bringing them to the attention of the University proper.
The Clubs Association has the CA council, which is made up of student representatives from every affiliated club and society on campus. The Council annually elects the CA executive, drawn from students nominated from varies clubs and societies.
Apart from providing information directly relating to club formation and maintenance, the CA also acts as a point of contact to provide information relating to the sustainable organising and running of events. The CA has many contacts outside the University and helping students find ‘the best deal’ is important to us.
