Travels of a Photographer in Old Shandong

The Confucius Institute at the University of Adelaide along with the State Library of South Australia presents an exhibition of photographs taken by Hedda Hammer Morrison at Old Shandong –  in collaboration with the OzAsia Festival.The exhibition features 1940’s pre-war photos of Shandong taken from the Harvard-Yenching Library.

The exhibition is curated by Dr. Claire Roberts, Senior Lecturer in Art History at the University of Adelaide, together with Chinese students from Shandong studying at the University of Adelaide. It is on display at the Jervois Room, Mortlock Chamber State Library of South Australia between 10 am and 5 pm everyday until 30 September.
