The International Student Centre and the Counselling & Disability Service have created a new online resource to help international students studying at the University of Adelaide to settle into their new home here. The Health and Relationships website will help you navigate the health care system in Australia, make new friends, and learn about relationships within an Australian context.
Check it out now: http://www.adelaide.edu.au/student/health-relationships/
To celebrate the launch of the new website, we would like to invite you all to a free Pancake Breakfast this Friday (4 September) from 10:30am-11:30 in the Western Courtyard of Hub Central. This will replace of our usual Friday Morning Tea, and as with all of our Morning Teas, weather will be no barrier – rain or shine, we will be there serving pancakes!
But That’s Not All!
Come along for some pancakes, stay for some conversation! To help us launch our new site, Shine SA, Clinic 275, UniCare, Allianz Global Assistance, and several representatives from University Clubs and Sports Teams will be joining us, so make sure you hang around after the pancakes for a great chat and a chance to meet some new people, including our very special guest – Naomi Hutchings!
Help us Improve the Website
The Health and Relationships website was constructed in consultation with international students with an aim to ensure we are providing you with the resources you want and need. If you think we have missed something, or you think some areas need further work, please let our Project officer for Student Health and Well being, Dr.Ben Chandler know (email@example.com) or you can fill in our anonymous online feedback form.
