Mental Health Begins With YOU!
Mental Health Awareness Week for this year is from October 4 to October 10. It is observed at the University from October 6 – 9 in various campuses through a range of activities.
For 2015, the University’s focus is on the ways you can improve your own mental health – and how you can help improve the mental health of others. Helping others is a great way to boost their well-being, but it can also help you to feel more connected and engaged, which can increase your own well-being as well. When we help each other, everybody wins!
That’s why this year we’re asking the questions, What do you do for yourself? and What do you do for others? to give everyone a chance to share positive stories of connection on and around campus.
Several activities are conducted around the campus between Tuesday October 6 and Friday October 9. Look out for the activities on campus next week and come along to participate in mental health awareness.
