Adelaide’s Rundle Mall Precinct has been filled with colour and vibrancy to promote plant life balance and promote Mental Health as part of the Living Colour Festival.
The Living Colour Festival runs from 1 May to 15 May 2016 in Rundle Mall with the partnership between Rundle Mall Management authority, Nursery and Garden Industry SA, Plant Life Balance and mental health organisation Headspace.
This festival is filled with an array of flowers and plant life are being featured throughout the precinct, adding a pop of colour to the heart of the city. More than 3000 plants, including ferns, pansies, snapdragons, geraniums, chrysanthemums and herbs, provided by South Australian growers have been used to create exquisite displays.
Rundle Mall hopes the Living Colour Festival will add some extra colour to the lives of South Australians and visitors in the lead up to winter as well as encourage people to prioritise their wellbeing by improving their plant life balance. The festival extends into the precinct’s enchanting lane ways with a range of flowers and plants featured off of the main strip of Rundle Mall.
On Sunday May 15, all plants used in the festival will be sold to the public with all proceeds being donated to Head space Adelaide.
