The University of Adelaide was pleased to welcome OzHarvest as our special guest to our first University Mental Health Day event on the 27th of April 2016.
OzHarvest is an organization that helps collect fresh food from restaurants and cafes that would otherwise be discarded or wasted. This food is then distributed to people doing it tough in the South Australian community. University of Adelaide students were able to donate $281.75 to OzHarvest as part of a ‘Do Well’ initiative, and these funds will help provide 563 meals to people in need.
