Words on Wheels in partnership with Study Adelaide are back again with 2 tours during the upcoming University Semester break from 03 – 24 July 2016.
The tours include Flinders Ranges and Nilpena Station, where Fossils can be located in the Outbacks. You may be aware that in our very own backyard lays some of the oldest surviving fossils on the planet. The Ediarcen Fossil fields are of significant scientific importance and located in a area in which is stunningly beautiful.
The tour arranged to Fossil fields site are wholly targeted to research and education; and are not widely opened to general public; which would mean that the tours would provide a strong educational component within the time at Nilpena.
You will note from the flyer that there is also the standard Flinders Ranges inclusions so that you may enjoy a complete Eco tourism experience whilst visiting the area. These tours have been generously subsidised by Study Adelaide and are available only in the July semester break.
Dates and schedule for the tours are as follows:
- 4th, 6th and 7th of July (Flinders Ranges and Fossils)
- 9th, 19th and 11th of July (South East)
- 14th, 15th and 16th of July (Flinders Ranges and Fossils)
Please refer to the above flyers for more information and contact Jayne for registration.
