One of the most popular past times for South Australians during summer is going to the beach. Most people who grew up here learn about beach and ocean safety from a young age, and so know how to stay safe in the sea. If you didn’t grow up with that education, though, going to the beach can be dangerous.
No worries! StudyAdelaide and Surf Life Saving SA are holding a Beach Education event just for students. The Surf Life Savers will help you understand the beach environment, waves, sea creatures, patrol flags and signage. And of course there will be lots of FUN activities in the water!
