Student Life and the Writing Centre are holding a series of workshops aimed at introducing international students to an element of academic writing in the Australian Context. These free 2 hour workshops will each cover a specific topic, and students enrolled in the relevant subject areas are welcome to attend.

Places are limited, so please follow the links below to register for a workshop. (Please Note: each subject offers multiple workshops but each are identical, so you only need to attend one workshop)

Science Students – Lab Report Writing
Business Students – Business Report Writing
Engineering Student – Lab Report Writing

In these workshops, you will learn how to structure a report relevant to your area of study, including the required sections, the type of content in each section, the tone of writing, research, and referencing. You are welcome to bring along an assignment for specific feedback, and our tutors will provide one-on-one support to help you better understand academic writing in the Australian context
