TARNANTHI – Festival of Contemporary Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art

'Kungkarangkalpa: Seven Sisters', celebrating the shared ancestral Tjukurpa of twenty-four women artists from the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands.

Beginning this week, the Art Gallery of South Australia is hosting TARNANTHI – a festival showcasing artworks from contemporary Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists.

Since the Art Gallery is right next door to the University’s North Terrace campus (and the exhibition is free!) it’s a great chance for you to engage with Indigenous Australian cultures.
