LCE Chinese Night – Semester 2 2019

The first Language & Cultural Engagement (LCE) free event for the semester is on Friday 9 August: Chinese Night! Featuring live traditional Chinese music and fun activities, this will be a great introduction to the Chinese culture. Dinner is included, all students are welcome, and bookings are essential.

Attendance rules

  • If you have already registered, please note your ticket is only valid until 6:15pm for guaranteed entry. After that point, students without tickets are welcomed until we are at capacity. If you are unable to attend, please email us or post on the LCE Facebook group.
  • Please note that entry for all attendees (both ticket holders and non-ticket holders) closes at 6.30pm, and there will be no further entry after that time. In other words, don’t be late!
  • LCE events usually become fully booked. However, if you do not have a ticket, you may still be able to attend. Since some people who book tickets don’t show up for the event, there is a chance that you can enter in their place. To do this, please line up at 6.00pm at the Eclipse Room on Friday 9 August. If there are free tickets at 6.15pm, you will be able to enter the venue at that time.
  • LCE events are for current students of the University of Adelaide only. Unfortunately family members of students, or students from other universities, are unable to attend.

You can see a complete list of LCE rules here.
