StudyAdelaide’s Mentor Program is looking for new mentors to support international students before and after their arrival in Adelaide.

StudyAdelaide’s mentors have first-hand knowledge and experience about how challenging a move to a new country can be and offer support to mentees by answering questions and recommending helpful resources. All of our mentors undertake a training workshop before commencing with the program, and are provided with the skills and resources needed to undertake the mentor role.

Mentors are expected to:

• Connect with their mentee(s) on a weekly basis
• Answer their mentee(s) questions to the best of their ability, or refer the mentee to a relevant resource
• Coordinate monthly small group get-togethers with their mentees
• Encourage their mentee(s) to attend a monthly whole group catch-up, organised by StudyAdelaide
