On the 11 August 2011, Professor Christopher Findlay, Executive Dean of the Faculty of Professions, announced the award of the 2011 Executive Dean’s Prize for excellence in teaching, to Dr Paul Babie, Dr Peter Burdon, and Mr Paul Leadbeter of the Adelaide Law School, for their teaching in Property Law.
Professor Findlay stated “the work by the Property Law team, in revising and restructuring the Course content and its presentation, was inspiring and exciting to read. It clearly demonstrated how a learning and teaching problem in the course overall was identified, how a pedagogical approach to address the problem was devised, and how it was put in place. Comments from students said that these innovative changes significantly improved the student experience of the course”.
The Dean of Law, Professor John Williams said “I congratulate Paul, Peter and Paul on this award. It continues the success of our staff in providing high quality and innovative Learning and Teaching”
