Aurora Native Title Internship Program success

Adelaide Law School students have again achieved success in selection for the highly-competitive Aurora Native Title Internship Program.

Over summer 2013, seven students will be volunteering as interns at Native Title Representative Bodies (NTRBs) and Indigenous policy organisations in South Australia as well as around the country in cities including Canberra, Darwin and Perth. This follows five students who undertook internships in the winter 2012 round, making an excellent year for Adelaide Law School students undertaking the Aurora Native Title Internship Program.

Students undertaking these internships not only provide valuable support to NTRBs and Indigenous policy organisations, but gain real-world experience of the operation of the law, and can undertake the elective course Native Title Internship Programme which builds on their internship work to deliver both academic and practical outcomes.
