The John Bray Alumni Network and the Adelaide Law School were thrilled to host The Honourable Dr Margaret J White AO for the annual John Bray Oration.

The Honourable Dr Margaret J White AO, whom the University of Adelaide Law School is proud to number amongst its alumni, delivered the address, entitled ‘Pro Bono: Good for the Profession, Good for the Country’. Dr White’s address traversed the history of pro bono work by the legal profession, critical cases that may not have run but for the gratis services of the legal profession and, of course, Dr Bray’s role and mandates regarding the importance of pro bono work in the community. Dr White’s oration enthralled an audience of the judiciary, profession, academy and student body of Adelaide Law School.
