Gabrielle Golding, a Higher Degree by Research Candidate from the Adelaide Law School, has been awarded the Australian Labour Law Association’s (ALLA) Research Degree Scholarship for 2014. This scholarship is decided on by the ALLA National Executive and provides full funding for Gabrielle to attend the biennial ALLA 2014 Conference in Manly from 13-15 November. This year, the conference theme is ‘Under the Microscope: The Next Phase of Australian Labour Law?’ Gabrielle will be presenting a paper on ‘Terms Implied by Law: Are they Necessary?’ The conference program can be accessed here.
