On 20-23 July 2015, the Adelaide Law School hosted the 5th International Conference on Evidence Law and Forensic Science 2015 (ICELFS).
ICELFS 2015 was the inaugural convention of the Conference outside Beijing. Adelaide and its University were honoured to welcome 240 participants from 15 different countries to take part in four days of proceedings. Over those four days, delegates heard from eminent scholars, practitioners and jurists on the theme of Proof in Modern Litigation: Developments and Reforms in Evidence Law and Forensic Science.
On behalf of the Organising Committee, we thank the Chairs, Co-Chairs and Speakers that filled the ICELFS 2015 program. ICELFS 2015 was fortunate to enjoy the support of the University of Adelaide Law School; the Law Foundation of South Australia; Fisher Jeffries Barristers and Solicitors; the Right Honourable the Lord Mayor of Adelaide, Mr Martin Haese; the “2011 Plan” China Collaborative Innovation Center of Judicial Civilization; the “111 Plan” China Base for Evidence Science Innovation and Talent Recruitment and the International Association of Evidence Science.
ICELFS 2015 was honoured by the attendance and support of the Chief Justice of Australia, the Honourable Robert S. French AC; the Chief Justice of Tanzania, the Honourable Mohamed C. Othman and the Chief Justice of South Australia, the Honourable Christopher J. Kourakis.
