Dr Nengye Liu’s Project ‘The Great Law of China – Legal Studies and Internship’, was recently awarded one of the 2018 New Colombo Plan Mobility Grants by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

This funding success, totalling $33,000 from the Australian Government, will enable 10 Adelaide law students to embark on an intensive 6 week program of study and internship in China. In Term 4 2018, 10 undergraduate law students will be selected to study at Shanghai Jiao Tong University’s Koguan Law School then intern at King & Wood Mallesons‘ Shenzhen Office. This massive opportunity will enhance our students’ employability by gaining first-hand Chinese law experience.
