Environmental Law Student Laura Auberson wins Ecoversity Award

Laura Auberson, a fifth year Law and International Studies student, has been awarded the University of Adelaide’s Ecoversity Award. The competitive award scheme enables a select few undergraduate students from the University of Adelaide to attend sustainability-related academic conferences. Award recipients are chosen based on their knowledge of and passion for advancing environmental sustainability; relevant work experience and achievements.

In July 2018, Laura will attend the 16th Colloquium of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature’s (IUCN) Academy of Environmental Law at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland. The Academy’s annual colloquia are one of the world’s largest gatherings of environmental law academics and practitioners.

The Colloquium provides an exciting opportunity for Laura to build on her academic knowledge and develop a career trajectory in environmental law and policy. Laura will be exposed to innovative and interdisciplinary scholarship and will hear from presenters from all over the world.

Congratulations Laura!!!
