Adelaide Law School goes to JAG School

RUMLAE member Dr Colette Langos is Visiting Professor at the US Army JAG School in Virginia

RUMLAE member, Dr Colette Langos, is a Visiting Professor with the Judge Advocate General’s School (U.S. Army), Charlottesville, Virginia for the next 6 months. She is the first foreign civilian to be offered this post. Colette has received a very warm welcome from Colonel Randy Swansiger – Dean of the JAG School, Lieutenant Colonel Alan Apple – Chair of the Contract and Fiscal Law Department and all Faculty members. During her time with the JAG School, she will be engaging in research themes significant to the U.S. Army and the Australian and United States armed forces more generally in the areas of commercial and criminal law. Colette commented recently ‘I consider it a great privilege and an honor to adhere to the Army Values as I undertake my work at the Judge Advocate General’s School (U.S. Army) during my sabbatical. The professionalism of my American colleagues is inspiring.’
