Dr Mark Giancaspro was invited last week to attend the Sport SA South Australian Sports Awards Breakfast in which the finalists were announced. The event was attended and spoken at by The Hon Corey Wingard MP (Minister for Sport, Recreation and Racing), Sport SA CEO Leah Cassidy, Sport SA President The Hon Michael Wright MP, champion basketballer Rachael Sporn OAM, and champion netballer Michelle den Dekker OAM.

The breakfast was held at the Sage Hotel for invited Sport SA partners and members. Leah asked me to attend as I am working on a number of projects with Sport SA and its partner organisations, and we’ve placed interns with the organisation earlier this year. We also collaborate in other ways e.g.resource development, information sharing etc.
