Adelaide Law School’s PhD candidate Catherine Robinson (also an academic with the Faculty of Law at University of Technology, Sydney) gave a presentation in Singapore on 2 April at the pre-eminent international forum for insolvency academics, INSOL Academics Colloquium. Catherine’s presentation discussed the findings from her recent survey of Australian insolvency practitioners. Her PhD (supervised by Professor Christopher Symes and Associate Professor David Brown, who both attended the Colloquium) is entitled: A new regulatory framework for insolvency practitioners in Australia: Assessing the effectiveness of the Insolvency Law Reform Act 2016 (Cth).
