ANZSIL Conference Panel: Law among the stars: the future of international space law

On Thursday, 4 July, Professor Melissa de Zwart and Dr Stacey Henderson, together with PhD candidates Mr Joel Lisk and Mr Duncan Blake, presented on a panel at the 27th Australian & New Zealand Society of International Law (ANZSIL) Annual Conference.  Professor de Zwart’s paper addressed the complex issue of grey zones in the context of advanced technology and hybrid warfare in space.  Dr Henderson spoke about the future of international law, and its continued relevance, in the context of space colonisation.  Mr Lisk presented a paper on how future generations will shape space law and practices, and Mr Blake spoke about space law in a military context.
