UPDATE: UoA drones back in the air!

Drone operations at the University of Adelaide have recommenced, with the appointment of the University’s new Chief Remote Pilot, Mitch Bannink.

As Chief Remote Pilot, Mitch has sole authority to approve drone operations on behalf of the University. His role includes ensuring compliance with CASA‘s obligations, industry best practice and insurance requirements. All drone operation queries should be directed to the University of Adelaide Drone Hub – URAF. URAF facilitates the use of drone technologies in engineering, agriculture, environmental science and data and computer sciences, and cross-discipline engagement across the university.
