Orientation and Library tours

Get a good start!
New students can learn how to find their way around the diverse resources and services offered at the various University libraries, by going on a Library orientation session.

Barr Smith Library
During Orientation Week, and into the first few weeks of first semester, the Library provides orientation sessions for new students. The 50-minute sessions include an introduction to our website and Catalogue, followed by a brief tour of the building.

See the 2009 timetable for full details of session times in Orientation Week and weeks 1-3.

Bookings? No need to book but student numbers per session are limited.
Where? Meet just inside the Library entrance.

We hope to see you there!

New to Adelaide Uni. Need to do library tour, although I’ve been in there a couple of times I’d have no idea where to start looking for stuff or how to use the catalogue!!!

Will try to get there Friday morning.

Good idea, Bronwyn! We hope to see you on a Library tour on Friday.
If you can’t make it, there’ll be extra tours next week.
