Part of the NEW NEW project curated by the Contemporary Art Centre of South Australia, A little bit of everything is an exhibition by Angela Valamanesh. A snapshot of a work which will form part of the artist’s PhD presentation currently in preparation through the University of South Australia, it is a response to immersion in the imagery of early microscopy and scientific illustration held in the collections of Rare Books & Special Collections of the Barr Smith Library.
Angela Valamanesh is an Adelaide-based artist and holds a Masters Degree in Visual Arts from the South Australian School of Art, 1993, and is a recipient of a Samstag Scholarship, 1997. She exhibits widely and her work is found in many public collections including the University of Adelaide. She is recognised as a significant artist within the public art area where she collaborates with Hossein Valamanesh.
