This workshop is focused on tools and techniques for choosing suitable academic journals in which to publish a scholarly article. It covers journal impact factors and open access publishing.
This workshop is aimed at honours students, postgraduate students, and early career researchers.

This workshop provides an introduction to research data management, including data organisation, ownership, storage & access, and retention & sharing. It covers some common data management issues and will help you to plan an approach to managing your research data.
The Barr Smith Library invites applications for the 2016 Bill Cowan Barr Smith Library Fellowship. The Fellowship has been established by the Cowan Grant to provide financial assistance towards study for postgraduate degrees by research, using the collections of the Barr Smith Library.
Applications open 1st October 2015 and close on the 10th December 2015.
