Open in Action: The Case for Open Access Publishing

Is Open Access the future of academic publishing? How can universities, researchers and students get the most out of it? What are the challenges lying ahead?
Join us and our panel as we explore these questions in this free three-university event.

This event will feature a keynote by Professor Ginny Barbour, Executive Director, Australasian Open Access Strategy Group (AOASG), followed by case studies from:

  • Professor Kym Anderson, The University of Adelaide
  • Professor Jon Buckley, University of South Australia
  • Professor John Long, Flinders University

The panel discussion will be chaired by Dr Gillian Dooley (Flinders University) and will feature Dr Hannah Brown (University of Adelaide), Andrew Farrer (University of Adelaide), Dr Ankur Singh (University of Adelaide) and Associate Professor Niranjan Bidargaddi Parameshwar (Flinders University).
