SNEAK PREVIEW – Level One South

We were given a sneak-peak earlier this week when we got the chance to visit Level One South of the Barr Smith Library. Currently undergoing refurbishment, Level One will soon become a brand new collection and study space! If you’ve been wondering what’s behind those sealed doors, wonder no more:

  • A new door through to the teaching spaces in Barr Smith South will be opened – providing more pathways through the library
  • The Music Collection, Maps and two brand new collections – East Asian Languages and the Yaitya Ngutu Pira (Aboriginal Collection) will call this area home
  • Over 200 new study spaces – including computers and power points!
  • Specially curated display areas

Stay tuned for our next progress update. Level One will officially re-open at the start of Semester Two!
