There will be building works happening at the Barr Smith Library on Saturday 14 October and Sunday 15 October.
The empty shelving on level 1 (in the south-west corner) is being dismantled and then relocated to the northern end of Level 2. There will be some noise and disruption during the relocation, for which we apologise.
There have been a lot of changes at the Library, both well received and more controversial, and there are more to come. Your feedback will help us ensure that these changes result in a Library that best meets your study, teaching and research needs, both now and in the future.

After several weeks of building works during the mid-semester break, Level 1 South of the library is once again freely accessible to all. This is the section just west of the western stairs from the Hub.
