Men’s Health Post-Doctoral Early Career Research Fellow- Call for applications

The Freemasons Foundation Centre for Men’s Health, Faculty of Health Sciences, the University of Adelaide, is seeking an Early-Career Post-Doctoral Research Fellow, with a PhD in a relevant field that has application in the setting of men’s health. Research experience with a men’s health focus is desirable but not essential. Must be highly motivated and have a track record of presentations and publications that demonstrate research capabilities and a commitment to research excellence.

Essential criteria:

Evidence of ability to undertake, complete and write up research:

  • Make a major contribution to the conceptual scientific framework of the study
  • Prepare ethics submissions and ensure all reporting requirements are met
  • Data management, statistical analysis and interpretation of research data
  • Presentation of data at local, national and international meetings
  • Prepare manuscripts and undertaking revisions
  • Assist with grant submissions
  • Have excellent computational skills
  • Assist and co-supervise students (vacation, honours and PhD) and other research staff
  • Work within a large research group
  • Independently perform research administrative functions

Desirable criteria:

  • Post-Doctoral experience in men’s health research or a field with direct relevance or application to men’s health
  • Evidence of multidisciplinary interactions, including clinical interactions

This fixed-term position is available immediately for a period of 24 months.
Salary: $75,111 – $80,627 per annum plus an employer superannuation contribution of 9%
