Population-based physical activity interventions – Guest Speaker – Men’s Health Research Seminar Wed 21 May

The Centre is pleased to welcome our guest speaker for this months Men’s Health Research Seminar, Dr Camille Short. Camille is a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at the Institute for Health and Social Sciences Research at Central Queensland University in Rockhamptom, Queensland.

We invite you to the Seminar to hear her presentation on the “Development and implementation of novel population-based physical activity interventions”.

Camille completed her PhD in Behavioural Science at the University of Newcastle, supervised by Professor Ronald Plotnikoff and Associate Professor Erica James. Her previous research encompassed the development and testing of behaviour change interventions targeted at special population groups within a public health framework.  Camille recognises the difficulties engaging men in health behaviour interventions and her currect research interests are in improving health outcomes of prostate cancer survivors.
