Men’s experiences after cancer diagnosis – Research participants required

Ms Jennifer Fish, a PhD Student in the School of Medicine at Flinders University, is seeking men interested in participating in a men’s health research study being supervised by Professor Carlene Wilson, Flinders Centre for Innovation in Cancer.   The study aims to explore the factors associated with help-seeking for cancer symptoms among South Australian men to inform cancer prevention and early intervention programs. To participate, you need to be

  • Male
  • Over 18 years of age
  • Have experienced a cancer diagnosis in the past 12 months

Participation will include a one-on-one 45-60 minute interview with Jennifer conducted in a location convenient for you. You will be asked to share your experience leading to cancer diagnosis and treatment.
