Who was Paddy?
Daniel “Paddy” O’Rourke was a wonderful man and a passionate consumer advocate for the Freemasons Foundation Centre for Men’s Health prostate cancer research program who sadly passed away in April 2015 from prostate cancer. He was only 56 years old. The Scholarship honours Paddy and his contribution to research through supporting young scientists working towards better treatment and support for men with prostate cancer, and their families.
Paddy O’Rourke featured in a video (pictured above) prepared for the FFCMH where he openly talks about living with metastatic prostate cancer. Go to: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDXgkHnilKE&feature=youtu.be
