The Centre congratulates Associate Professor Nick Brook on being awarded the 2018 Freemasons Foundation Centre for Men’s Health’s Surgical and Research Travelling Fellowship generously sponsored by Mundipharma and AstraZeneca Australia, The Fellowship supports Fellows to undertake advanced overseas surgical training and related clinical research.
A/Prof Brook’s fellowship will be for a period of 6 months, and based at the Onze-Lieve Vrouw-Ziekenhuis (O.L.V) Robotic Surgical Institute at the O.L.V. Hospital in Aalst, Belgium. He will be under the mentorship of Professor Alexandre Mottrie PhD, whose expertise is in urological oncology and minimal invasive surgery. He is the Scientific Director of the ERUS-congresses and the Global Congresses on Prostate Cancer and founding president of the EAU Robotic Urology Section of the Belgian Laparoscopic Urology Group.
