Our team will be installing the new Echo360 lecture recording system into additional venues ready for teaching in Semester 1 2017. The phased rollout begins on Monday 21 November.
Echo360 was installed in a small number of venues in Semester 2 2016 to provide lecture recording for MyUni Canvas courses. Installation into additional venues supports the wider transformation of courses from MyUni Blackboard to MyUni Canvas.
Please refer to the current list of rooms with Echo360 installed. The project team will update this page as we work through this transition.
The Echo360 system automatically schedules lecture recording using information from the university timetable. Ad-hoc recording of other teaching activities will be possible if conducted in a venue that has Echo360 installed.
Please contact MyUni Support on 8313 3000 and select option 3 if you require in-venue recording during this transition period.
Echo360 is replacing MyMedia for lecture recording in all venues in 2017. MyMedia will no longer be available for recording purposes, but will still be available for accessing previous content.
We will keep you posted about this changeover throughout the coming weeks as we progress to a full installation of Echo360.
